OPERATION & ASSEMBLING
Use of the hand mixer:
CAUTION!
Do not operate the appliance for more than 10 minutes at a time and
allow it to cool down to room temperature afterwards.
WARNING!
Do not plug the appliance into the electrical outlet until it has
been assembled properly. Ensure that the appliance is switched
off before you plug it in and do not switch on the appliance
until the dough hooks or whisks are in a container or immersed
in the ingredients.
Use an appropriately sized mixing bowl for the quantity to be
processed.
Assembling the appliance:
• Depending on the ingredients you wish to use, first insert the required
attachments(whisks 6 7 or dough hooks 4 5 ) into the receptacles 8 of
the drive unit.
To work properly, the attachments must be inserted correctly in the
receptacles. The attachments (whisks and dough hooks) have plastic
connectors at the ends. There are disc-shaped collars – one large
diameter collar and one small diameter collar – at the bottom of the
plastic connectors. The receptacle openings for the attachments are also
different sizes. This is to help you position the attachments correctly in
the
receptacles.
• When fitting the attachments, ensure that the attachment (whisks 6 7
or dough
hooks 4 5 ) with the larger disc-shaped collar is 5 inserted into the
receptacle
with the larger opening.
• Insert the attachments into the receptacles (rotating slightly if
necessary) until they
click together audibly and perceptibly. Check that they are securely and
correctly in
place.
