MK-24 SERIES SET-UP
ADJUSTING DEPTH OF CUT GAUGE
BLADE SPEED AND THROTTLE SETTING

Turn Crank Wheel until Blade
touches the ground.
(B)
Turn the Depth Gauge Indicator
dial clockwise until it reads zero.
Operating saw blades at rotational speeds greater than those recommended
by the manufacturer can cause blade damage and possibly subsequent per-
sonal injury.
It is possible to cause overspeeding of the blade at throttle settings above the
factory set governed speed of 3600 rpm; DO NOT EXCEED THESE ENGINE
RPM SETTINGS!

Since diamond blades cut best at specific rim-speeds, blades of different diameters
must be turned at different blade shaft rpm’s.
The MK-24 Series will run a 18” through 24” blade.
Safe, efficient, economical cutting performance for these blade sizes will occur at the
full throttle engine setting of 3600 RPM.
The MK-24 Series blade shaft speed is 2120 RPM at 3600 engine RPM (full throttle).
