Servicing the Air Curtain
(suggest every 6 Months, or if the Filter Dirty Indicator shows FLASHING RED)
Before servicing, maintaining or repairing the Air Curtain always isolate the local
electrical supply to the Air Curtain and, if necessary, the electrical supply to the
Mitsubishi Electric City Multi system.
Note: All servicing, maintenance and repairs to the air curtain must be carried out by an
approved Service Agent. Keep any loose fixings for re-assembly.
Remove and clean the air filters, See Page 36. The filters are durable but may need to be
replaced after a number of service intervals.
Open the bottom access panel underneath the air curtain,
See “To gain access inside the Air Curtain”
If the Air Curtain has been used in Cooling:-
Vacuum clean and remove any build-up of dust, dirt and
debris inside the air curtain especially on the fans.
Note: Fan motors are permanently lubricated and do not
need additional lubrication.
Do not adjust the fan speeds, these were set during
commissioning.
Check all electrical connections inside the air
curtain are tight.
Remove the bottom access panel – Unscrew M6 nut, then
M6 screw.
Remove condensate hose from the drain tray outlet pipe.
