CLEANING THE AIR CLEANING FILTER (OPTION)
Cleaning the air cleaning

lter (about once every 3 months)

Remove the air
fi
lter (left one).
The air cleaning
fi
lter is not attached to the right side air
fi
lter.

Pull up the tabs on both sides of the air clean-
ing
fi
lter with your
fi
nger and remove the air
cleaning
fi
lter (blue bellows type) from the air
fi
lter.

Soak the
fi
lter together with its frame in luke-
warm water and wash it.
■
If the dirt is noticeable, use a solution of mild deter-
gent diluted in lukewarm water.
■
If hot water (50°C or more) is used, the
fi
lter may be
deformed.
■
Do not use a scrubbing brush or sponge. This may
damage the surface of the
fi
lter.
■
Do not use a chlorine detergent.

After rinsing with water/lukewarm water,
shake off the excess water and dry the
fi
lter
well in the shade.
■
Do not expose the
fi
lter to direct sunlight or heat from
a
fi
re when drying it.

REPLACEMENT OF THE AIR CLEANING FILTER (OPTION)

lter replacement (about once every year)
When the capacity is lowered because of dirt, etc., it is necessary to replace the air cleaning
fi
lter.

Remove the air
fi
lter (left one).
The air cleaning
fi
lter is not attached to the right side air
fi
lter.

Pull up the tabs on both sides of the air clean-
ing
fi
lter with your
fi
nger and remove the air
cleaning
fi
lter (blue bellows type) from the air
fi
lter.

Attach a new air cleaning
fi
lter to the air
fi
lter
so that all 8 tabs on the air
fi
lter are securely
installed.

Install the air
fi
lter. (Securely install its tabs.)

Securely close the front panel.
