CALL OUT SETTINGS
The CALL OUT settings are used with the rear CALL OUT
terminals outputting a signal to notify of a specified condition.
CALL OUT SETTINGS use photo-coupler output to
decrease the amount of malfunctions due to writing .
See page 19 “CALL OUT Output terminal” for apt con-
nection procedures.
• HDD MAIN REMAIN/HDD SUB REMAIN/
ARCHIVE REMAIN
When the remaining memory in the HDD or ARCHIVE
device reaches the set value, the unit outputs a signal
from the CALL OUT terminal, and the “REC/REM” or
“ARCHIVE/REM” warning displayed on the screen.

“HDD SUB REMAIN” appears when “PARTITION”
is selected on “HDD SETTING” of the <INITIALIZA-
TION> screen.
“ARCHIVE REMAIN” appears when “ARCHIVE•
COPY” is selected on “ID4•ID5” of the <INITIALIZA-
TION> screen.

“2%”, “4%”, “6%”, “8%”, “10%”, “15%”, “20%”, “30%”,
“40%”, “50%”, “OFF”

Select “HDD MAIN REMAIN”, “HDD SUB REMAIN” or
“ARCHIVE REMAIN” in the <CALL OUT SETTINGS> screen.
Display the desired setting and confirm.
2. Turn the SHUTTLE ring counterclockwise or press the SET
UP button to exit.
By pressing the WARNING RESET button, the HDD
capacity and archive capacity warning from the CALL
OUT terminal can be cancelled.
INFORMATION
For the relationship of the warning display and CALL
OUT signal output,
see pages 96, 97. Although the
warning will be displayed regardless if the output item
for the CALL OUT signal is set to “Fixed”, the condition
to output CALL OUT signals can be added when the
output is set to “Selectable”. For example, the buzzer
can be set to sound when reaching a value set in “HDD
MAIN REMAIN”, “HDD SUB REMAIN” or “ARCHIVE
REMAIN” of the <CALL OUT SETTINGS> screen if
“BUZZER” in the <REAR TERMINAL SETTINGS>
screen is set to “WARNING”.
• HDD MAIN FULL/HDD SUB FULL/ARCHIVE FULL
When the HDD is full, the CALL OUT terminal outputs a
CALL OUT signal.

“HDD SUB FULL” appears when the HDD SET-
TING is selected on “PARTITION” of the <INITIALIZA-
TION> screen.
“ARCHIVE FULL” appears when the ID4•ID5 is
selected on “ARCHIVE•COPY” of the <INITIALIZA-
TION> screen.
Setting ( default : “OFF” )
“ON” : Signal is outputted when the recording capacity
becomes full.
“OFF” : No signal is outputted when the recording ca-
pacity becomes full.
