line) which supports Loop Disconnect (LD) and Multi-Frequency (MF) Signalling.
This apparatus has been approved for the following facilities:
•
Loop Start
•
Series Connection
•
Call Barring.
Any other usage will invalidate the approval of the apparatus if, as a result, it ceases to comply
with the standard against which approval has been granted.
This apparatus is not suitable for:
•
Use as an extension to a payphone
•
Use on a shared line
•
Use on a 1 + 1 carrier.
Difficulties may occasionally be experienced when making calls from other apparatus
connected to the exchange line via this series apparatus. Such difficulties may include:
•
Difficulty in making calls, or
•
Problems in telephone conversation being experienced by both parties to the call.
While operation may be possible initially, subsequent changes to or modernisation of the
network may result in the apparatus being connected to a network service with which it was
not designed to be compatible. Failure of the apparatus to work under these circumstances may
not be the responsibility of the network operator. If such difficulties are experienced, please
contact the supplier or maintainer of this apparatus, not the network operator.
The total voltage drop introduced by this apparatus shall be less than or equal to 1.5 VDC for
loop currents of less than or equal to 60 mA.
This EuroRoute device is intended to be used in a Commercial/Light industrial environment.
This product also complies with 73/23/EEC Low Voltage Directive.
Caution: The EuroRoute must not be connected in parallel with any other apparatus. Doing so
invalidates the approvals of which it has been granted.
When using the Callback feature, this product must be connected between a telephone and an
Exchange line. This feature may not be used when the Dialer is installed in conjunction with a
PABX system.
