Restart
You can restart your phone to check for updates on the server, or you can occasionally restart your
phone for phone configuration changes or network settings to take effect. You may also need to
restart your phone if you have been asked to do so by your system administrator or if you encounter
any unexpected behavior.
Restarting Your Phone

Voice Services
The Mitel MiVoice 6905 IP phone can be configured to provide remote workers access to the same
communication capabilities as in-office workers using Voice Services
During the initial boot-up of the IP phone, at 95%, a Voice Services screen auto prompts the user
to select an appropriate service.
The user can select either of the following service options:
•
MiV BorderGateway
service for MiNet Teleworker users
•
MiVoice Connect
service for MiVoice Connect SIP users
Perform the following steps to set the
MiV BorderGateway
service:
