Filter function

Filtering enables a "filtered" terminal to forward calls to a "filtering" terminal while
monitoring the forwarded calls. It requires using two programmable keys on the Filtering
terminal and two programmable keys on the Filtered terminal:
• One key for activating or deactivating filtering
• One key for supervising the calls.
Note:
this function will be programmed by your system operator. Using an expansion
module gives an immediate view of the programmed keys, regardless of whether the
terminal is idle or communicating.
Communicating with the filter function
Activating the filter function:
The key programmed with the filter function is used to activate
this function from the filtered terminal or filtering terminal.
• Press the forward activation/deactivation key.
-> The indicator light associated with the key goes on on the
two terminals. On the filtered terminal, the menu key lights
up and the terminal status (Forwarding activated) is
displayed on screen.
Note:
The activation (or deactivation) of the filter function on any
of the terminals (example, filtered terminal) is automatically
recorded on the other terminal (example, filtering terminal).

Call the filtered set:
You want to call the designated user of the filtered terminal:
• Press the supervision key corresponding to the filtered terminal.
-> The indicator light associated with the programmed key goes
on.
Answer the filtered calls:
A call meant for the filtered terminal arrives:
-> The display indicates that the call was intended for the
filtered terminal (Via..).
