Preheat Frypan lined with double thickness of
aluminium foil. Place pies in Frypan and cover. To
increase browning slightly, lightly brush top crust
with milk or cream before baking. Bake for time
stated on label.
Frozen dinners packaged
in ovenproof foil trays (one
at a time)

Preheat Frypan lined with double thickness of
aluminium foil. Remove foil tray containing food from
paper, cardboard or cellophane packaging. Place
dinner in Frypan and cover. Bake for time stated on
label.
Frozen prepared foods
packaged in “Cook-In Bags”

Pour 4 cups water into Frypan. Bring to boil, covered,
with steam vent open. Place bags in Frypan. Cook,
covered, for time stated on label. If necessary, add
additional water.
Ready-to-bake rolls
(MEF44)

Melt 1 tbsp. butter in preheated Frypan. Coat rolls
with the butter. Bake one side, covered, for 5 to 7
minutes. Turn and bake other side for 5 to 7 minutes.
Simmer/Steam
Place water and food (vegetables, fish, etc.) in Frypan.
Set temperature control knob at approximately 150°C
(or at a temperature that brings water to a rolling
simmer.) Cover. Steam fresh or frozen vegetables
in a small amount of water. Simmer tough cuts of
meat. Heat baby food or single servings of special
diets. Prepare white sauce, cooked cereals, etc.
