Turning the recorder ON and OFF
To turn on the recorder, press and hold the Power/Record button (
) for 5
seconds. The recorder will vibrate 3 times and the power indicator will glow in
blue
.
To turn off the recorder, press and hold the Power/Record button (
) for 5
seconds. The recorder will vibrate 3 times and the power indicator will be off.
Note:
By default, the recorder will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
You can change the auto power-off settings. (See the "System settings" section for
more information.)
Note:
The recorder will turn off automatically if the MicroSD card is not inserted.
Note:
Alternatively, you can press the reset button to directly shut down the
recorder. To shut down the recorder, insert a small rod, such as a straightened
paperclip, into the reset button of your recorder.
