To set the “Intelligent Sorting” parameter

By setting this parameter to “ON”, the “Non-Sort” setting will automatically
be selected if a document consisting of only one page is placed in the au-
tomatic document feeder, and the “Sort” setting will automatically be se-
lected if a document consisting of two or more pages is placed in the
automatic document feeder and the number of copies is set to 2 or more.
The default setting is “ON”.

Important)

The “Sort” setting is only available if the optional 10-mailbin sorter (JS-
1002) is installed.

In the User’s Choice screen, touch
[Intelligent Sorting].

Select whether intelligent sorting
will be used (“ON”) or not (“OFF”),
and then touch [Enter].
