Adjust the paper guides to the size
of the paper, and then load the pa-
per so that the front side of the pa-
per (the side facing up when the
package was unwrapped) faces
down. Lightly slide the paper into
the feed slot as much as possible so
that it is ready to be fed into the
copier.

bypass tray to feed paper manually?
§ Feed only one sheet of paper at a time.
§ Copies will be made on the surface of the paper facing down when
it is loaded into the manual bypass tray.

Make sure that the screen that al-
lows you to select the manual by-
pass tray paper size is displayed,
and then select the desired paper
size.

For paper sizes in metric
measurements, touch [Metric] to
display a screen that allows you
to select metric paper sizes.
H To specify a paper size other
than the standard sizes listed on
the screen, touch [Custom
Size].
