About the Control Panel

Manually select an Ethernet IP Address

You must enter a unique IP address compatible with your local Ethernet net-
work environment.

When manually setting the IP address, turn off DHCP and BOOTP
first.

Attention

You should always notify your network administrator before changing
the printer’s IP address.

IP ADDRESS, SUBNET MASK and GATEWAY are displayed only when both
DHCP and BOOTP are set to off.

Use the following quick control panel sequence to change the IP address of
your printer:

LANGUAGE SET/ENGLISH

Press the Right or Left key until the appropriate
language is displayed.

<LANGUAGE> is selected.
