5) OPERATION
Before taking any measurement, read carefully the “
SAFETY INFORMATION” section and be sure about all
warnings. Always inspect the instrument against damages,
contamination (excessive dust, grease, ...) and defects.
In the case of any abnormal condition is detected, do not
make any type of measurement.
A. RPM Measurements by Contact
1. Select the key functions to the position “RPM contact”.
2. Press the drive button of measures and hold the adapter
to measure RPM (cone or funnel) lightly pressed against
the center shaft of rotation to be measured.
3. Release the drive button of measures when the reading
is stabilized (approx. after 2s).
