1. INTRODUCTION
We would like to congratulate you on your purchase of babyScale, scales for babies and children
of up to 20 kg in weight. Read the instructions manual carefully prior to using the apparatus.
Keep this manual for future use as it contains important information.
The characteristics described in this user guide are subject to change with no prior
warning.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the safety instructions carefully prior to using this apparatus and keep it for future reference.
1. You should not strike the scales with sharp or hard objects and avoid strong vibrations.
2. Avoid heavy objects which surpass the maximum capacity of the scales

3. Never wet the scales. The scales should only be cleaned with a smooth cloth and natural
cleaning products.
4. Protect the scales well. If the surface is damaged the readings may be inaccurate.
5. Replace the batteries when the ‘LO’ indicator appears on the screen.
6. The batteries should be inserted with the poles in the correct position.
7. Remove the batteries before storing the scales for long periods of time.
8. Do not attempt to open or disassemble any part of the device except to replace the batteries.
9. Use the device exclusively for the purpose it is intended for.
10. Do not attempt to repair this product on your own, as opening and handling it may damage
the device or expose it to hazards.
N.B: We should warn you that alterations and modifications to the equipment which are
not conducted by the MINILAND technical department are not covered under the product
guarantee.
