INSTALLATION
CHANGING FRONT PANEL LABELS
If you wish, you can replace the zone and relay labels on the front panel of the CT124. Follow these
instructions:
1.
Follow the safety precautions on page 2. Be sure power is off, then remove the CT124’s front
panel and disconnect the ribbon cable.
2.
Remove the 2 spade lugs from the built-in alarm inside the front panel. Remove the 8 screws
holding the circuit board in place. To avoid damage from static electricity, do not to touch
conductors while handling the circuit board. Remove the circuit board.
3.
Pull out the old zone and relay labels. Write your descriptions in the blank forms located in the
back of this manual. Cut out, fold, and insert into the slots in the CT124’s faceplate.
4.
Replace the circuit board and screws, reconnect the alarm and ribbon cable, and reinstall the front
cover.
