For Firmware pre version 3.00 HSSI v1 is utilized and is not compatible with HSSI V2, as
used with Firmware version 3.00 and later.
The nominal bit rate for the HSSI v1 interface is 1Mbps.

above figure ‘Circuit Overview’ and the following table.
