Open the water heater cover.
9.
Unlock the catch clips on both sides of the
water heater tank cover.
10. Hold up the water heater tank cover and
engage its handle with the hook.

When engaging the handle with the
hook, take care to avoid bending the
cables or tubes or pulling them with
excessive force, or it may cause
failures of the water heater.
