Operator and Equipment Safety

Read and understand this manual before using the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve.
Failure to follow operating instructions could result in user injury or damage to
the instrument.
•
Read and understand all maintenance instructions in this manual before
performing maintenance on the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve. Failure to follow
instructions could result in user injury or damage to the instrument.
•
Any alteration of the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve from factory specification may
cause unsafe conditions, and will void the product warranty.
•
Any attempt to use the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve in a manner not specified in
this user guide may result in damage to the instrument, possible operator
injury, and will void the product warranty.
•
Do not attempt to open and repair the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve. Service should
be performed by trained and authorized personnel only.
•
Place the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve on a clean, flat, stable, horizontal surface,
away from any source of excessive heat and close to an easily accessible
power outlet.
•
Do not expose the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve to liquid. If this happens,
immediately switch off and disconnect the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve from the
power outlet.
•
Use only accessories delivered with the dispenser (external power supply,
rechargeable battery, battery charger). See Ordering Information in this user
guide.
•
Preferably use EZ-Pak® membrane cartridges with the EZ-Pak® Dispenser
Curve.
•
Before cleaning, switch off and disconnect the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve from
the power outlet.
•
Before moving the EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve, switch it off it to avoid
unwanted membrane dispensing.
•
The power supply must be protected by a fuse below the main connection.
•
The electrical installation must comply with local standards.
•
Use an electrical surge protector to prevent damage to the system.
