REAL TIME CLOCK
Real-Time Clock (RTC) is an integrated circuit chip that keeps track of the current time even
when microcontroller is turned off. Real-time clock runs on a special battery that is not con-
nected to the normal power supply.
Switch groups SW2 and SW4 are used to enable Real-Time Clock. Switch 5 on SW2, and
switches 7 and 8 on SW4 must be turned on in order to connect Real-Time Clock to micro-
controller pins.
