4.9 Precaution in working with folded handlebar
Confirm a function and presence of any damage of a handlebar and locking
device.
When it was damaged and lifted up, serious accident may happen.
When lifting handlebar, pay enough attention not to damage waists.
While lifting handlebar, do not release hands. There is a danger to suffer
serious injury by attacking human body by any chance. Also it may happen
to damage machine itself.
Confirm handlebar was securely locked. Incomplete lock may lead
handlebar falls, and get damage to owe serious casualty.

4.10 Precaution to avoid water hammer in cylinder
For machine in outdoor storage, always put the cover on top to protect the
engine muffler and air cleaner from dew and rain.
Protect engine air cleaner and muffler from any invasion of rain or water jet
spray. Otherwise, rain or water jet spray goes into engine cylinder and water
hammer phenomenon happens. If engine starts, the crank shaft rotates
normally, but the piston does not go up in compression process, because of
water remained in cylinder.
Higher compressed engine like Diesel engine leads water hammer easily
because of it happens with small water volume.
If water goes into cylinder, water hammer phenomenon is a main reason of
trouble.

4.11 Precaution of electro-magnetic clutch for vibration
Stop the engine securely and then start inspection.
Take special attention not to convolute any cloth and hand from rotation
parts(Belt, Pulley and etc.)
Do not touch any rotation part with hand while machine running.
Do not pour water or apply grease, to avoid electric shock in leaking.
Electro-magnetic clutch is the dry type. If grease adheres on surface, friction
torque drops remarkably.
Do not touch fingers and hand with even in stop position.
Electro-magnetic clutch activate easily by switching “ON” and “OFF” .
Pay special attention not to touch or pinch to rotational part.
The temps. on clutch surface go up contingently by turning on electricity.
The temps. on clutch surface go up until 90
O
C-100
O
C because it heats by slip
resistance and built-in coil heat.
So keep the slip resistance temps not over 80
O
C on outer surface of clutch.
In case, do not touch the surface to avoid burning injury.
Electro-magnetic clutch is made of soft material for its nature.
Dent by unreasonable force or deformation leads to improper activation or
lack of torque.
Built-in fuse works in wire harness near electro-magnetic clutch, if over
amperage flows. However, engine starts normally, and runs to travel at
2,500 min-1(2,500r.p.m.) without problem. Check fuse to replace if no
vibration.
