Safety instructions
4.1 General safety instructions
The cookware complies with the prescribed safety regulations. Nevertheless, risks
emanating from this product cannot be excluded. The following safety instructions
help to minimise dangers for persons and objects, but cannot completely exclude
them due to existing residual risks. Improper use can lead to personal injury and
damage to property. Therefore, please take the time to familiarise yourself with the
safety instructions before use. After longer use, the handles may become hot, make
sure you use suitable hand protection. Be careful when opening the lid during or
after cooking. Hot steam can escape and lead to scalding. Only place the hot cook-
ware on heat-resistant surfaces (never on plastic etc.). Never leave the cookware
unattended during use. Pay particular attention when children are nearby. When
used in conjunction with an induction hob, noises may occur which are technically
caused and do not constitute a defect in the cooker or the cookware.
4.2 Risk of burns
After longer use, the handles may become hot, make sure you use suitable hand
protection. Be careful when opening the lid during or after cooking. Hot steam can
escape and lead to scalding. Spilling hot liquids can cause severe burns.
4.3 Fire hazard
If a fi re should occur, try to extinguish the fl ames with a fi re blanket or use a fi re
extinguisher. Never extinguish with water.
