Sources of danger
2.3.1
Risk of burns
The appliance heats the cookware; the cookware as well as the cooking zones may therefore
become very hot. Protect against burns.
Do not touch a hot cooking unit.
Keep children away from the stove top.
Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, etc. on the stovetop. If a
cooking unit is switched on, these objects may become very hot.

Fire hazard
Improper use of the appliance is a fire hazard.
Never place flammable objects on the stovetop.
Heating oil or grease for an extended time period can cause them to ignite.
Never heat empty cookware on a cooking unit.
In the case of fire, remove the plug from the socket and try to extinguish the flames.
Water should not be used to put out the fire under any circumstances.
