Cleaning the extraction grille and
grease filter by hand
Clean the extraction grille and the
grease filter with a soft nylon brush in
a mild solution of hot water and a
small amount of washing-up liquid.
Do not use undiluted washing-up
liquid.
Unsuitable cleaning agents
Unsuitable cleaning agents can cause
damage to the surface of the filters if
used regularly.
Do not use:
– cleaning agents containing descaling
agents,
– powder cleaners or cream cleaners,
– aggressive all-purpose cleaning
agents or spray cleaners for grease,
– oven sprays.
Cleaning the extraction grille and
grease filter in a dishwasher
Place the extraction grille as upright
as possible and the grease filter with
its base facing upwards in the lower
basket. Ensure the spray arm is not
obstructed.
Use a standard household
dishwasher detergent.
Select a dishwasher programme with
a wash temperature between 50 °C
and 65 °C.
Depending on the cleaning agent
used, cleaning the grease filter in a
dishwasher can cause permanent
discolouration to the internal surfaces
of the filter. However, this will not
affect the functioning of the filter in
any way.
After cleaning
When removing the extraction grille
and the grease filter for cleaning, also
clean off any residues of oil or fat
from the now accessible housing to
prevent the risk of these catching fire.
Recirculation mode
If you intend to use recirculation mode
with the separate recirculation box,
ensure you read the corresponding
operating instructions supplied with the
recirculation box.
