Checking the heat exchanger

Risk of injury from sharp cooling

Do not touch the cooling fins with
your hands.

Look to see if fluff has accumulated.

If you notice any visible soiling:

Damage due to incorrect clean-

ing of the heat exchanger.
The tumble dryer will not dry if the
cooling fins are damaged or bent.
Clean using a vacuum cleaner with a
suction brush attached. Only pass
the vacuum cleaner suction brush
over the heat exchanger cooling fins
lightly, without applying any pres-
sure.
