Functional description
1.
The Miele air purifier draws in atmospheric air at the bottom via
the air intake vents in the plinth (
).
2.
The pre-filters (
) filter coarse dust out of the air.
3.
The air is conveyed upwards by the fan inside the air purifier and
is pushed through the main filter and the active charcoal fil-
ter (
). Up to 99.995 % of particles are filtered out of the air
during this process.
4.
The cleaned air is released back into the room via the air outlet
vents (
) in the lid.
The control panel (
) behind the lockable access flap is used to con-
trol the various operating modes (e.g.
Manual mode
). The fan can be
regulated according to the room size. It is also possible to operate the
appliance based on specified times.
After every use, air heated to 70 °C flows through the bottom of the
main filter (
) for 20 minutes.
All components are installed in a high-quality metal housing with
acoustic and thermal insulation. The castors on the bottom of the air
purifier make it easy to move around.
