Auto heat-up
When Auto heat-up has been activated, the cooking zone
switches on automatically at the highest setting and then
switches to the continued cooking setting which you have
previously selected. The heat-up time depends on which
continued cooking setting has been chosen (see chart).
As the higher continued cooking settings are generally used
for frying food, only a relatively short heat-up time is needed
to heat up the pan initially.
Activating Auto heat-up

Touch the display of the desired cooking zone.
The display of the cooking zone will flash.

Touch the number of the required continued cooking
setting until a tone sounds and "
A
" appears in the cooking
zone display.
After the heat-up time has finished, "
A
" disappears.
Changing the continued cooking setting while the cooking
zone is heating up deactivates Auto heat-up.
Deactivating Auto heat-up
You can deactivate Auto heat-up before the end of the
heat-up time.

Touch the display of the desired cooking zone.
The display of the cooking zone will flash.

Touch the selected continued cooking setting on the
numerical keypad until "
A
" disppears.

Select a different power setting.
