The hob has two timers, one for the rear
left cooking zone
w
and one for the
front left cooking zone
y
. They can be
used as a minute minder, or for
automatically switching the relevant
cooking zone off.
Proceed as follows:
Each timer can be set from 1 to 99
minutes. Touch the
- sensor to reduce
the time set from 99 to 00 minutes, and
use the + sensor to increase the time
from 00 to 99 minutes.
The timer can be switched off before
the set time has elapsed by touching
the
-
and
+
sensors
at the same time
.
To set the minute minder
The timer can only be used as a minute
minder when the
hob is switched on ,
and the cooking zone for that timer is
switched off . The minute minder works
in the same way as a kitchen timer.
Proceed as follows:
^ With the hob switched on touch the -
or + sensor for the relevant timer until
the required time appears in the timer
display e.g. 15 minutes.
The set time counts down in minutes in
the time display. It can be changed at
any time by touching the
- or + sensor.
When the end of the set time has been
reached
00 appears in the timer
display, and at the same time an
audible tone sounds for about 10
seconds. The
00 will go out about 30
seconds later.
Note that switching on the zone for that
timer deactivates the minute minder.
The time set goes out and
00 will
appear in the display.
