The following guide may help you to find the reason for a fault, and to correct it.

(Gas Safe registered in the UK). Repairs and other work by unqualified
persons could be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for
unauthorised work.

Allow a minimum interval of 1 minute between

after several attempts.
The burner is not
correctly assembled.
Assemble the burner correctly.
The gas supply tap is
turned off.
Turn on the gas supply tap.
The burner is wet or
dirty.
Clean and dry the burner.
The flame slits are
blocked and/or wet
