Cleaning appliance doors and
side panels
If soiling is left on for any length of
time, it may become impossible to
remove.
Surfaces may suffer discolouration or
damage.
Therefore it is best to remove soiling
from appliance doors and side pan-
els immediately.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratching. Contact with unsuitable
cleaning agents can alter or discol-
our the surfaces. Scratches on glass
surfaces could even cause a break-
age in certain circumstances.
See "Cleaning agents" at the begin-
ning of this section.
Do not spot clean small areas of
the glass and do not remove soiling
when it is dry.
The glass front can alter or discolour.
Ensure that you wet clean the entire
surface of the glass front.
Use a glass cleaning agent which
contains a little alcohol but no citric
or similar additives.
Using a glass cleaning agent con-
taining additives would cause streak-
ing on the entire surface.
Wipe the glass front with plenty of
hot water.
Clean the entire outer surface with a
clean, fluff-free microfibre cloth, a
dash of washing-up liquid and plenty
of hot water.
After cleaning, wipe with clean water
and dry with a soft cloth.
If necessary, you can also use a glass
cleaning agent which contains a little
alcohol but no citric or similar addit-
ives.
