Your appliance has been fitted with a
warning system which ensures that the
temperature in the freezer cannot rise
unnoticed and also that the lid is not left
open for too long. It is always active.
Temperature alarm
If the appliance reaches a temperature
higher than that set on the controls, the
alarm sounds and the temperature dis-
play will flash.
This will happen:
– when the freezer is switched on.
– when the lid of the freezer has been
left open for a while, e.g. in order to
load, to re-arrange or to take out
food.
– when freezing large amounts of food.
– when there has been a lengthy inter-
ruption to the power supply.
Alarm when the lid is left open
The alarm will sound if the lid is left
open for longer than approx. 120 sec-
onds.
Switching the alarm tone off
early
Once the set temperature has been
reached in the freezer the alarm tone
stops and the temperature is displayed
constantly. However, if the noise dis-
turbs you, you can turn the alarm off
before this if you wish.

Press the alarm button.
The alarm stops. The temperature
display continues to flash, until the lid
has been shut again or the set tem-
perature has been reached. It then
lights up constantly.
