Programm selection
Choose your programme according to
the type of load and how dirty it is.
In most cases this will be a UNIVER-
SAL - programme.
UNIVERSAL 55 ° or 65 °
(with one pre-wash) or
UNIVERSAL PLUS 55 ° or 65 °
(with two pre-washes).
These programmes are ideally suited to
everyday loads, mixed loads with va-
rying degrees of soiling.
For particular needs there are special
programmes:

pages in the Programme chart.
Top Solo
(for small loads)
When you choose a “Top Solo” pro-
gramme, most of the water is dis-
tributed by the top and middle spray
arms.
These programmes are recommended
when there is only a small amount of
crockery and cutlery to clean which
can be fitted into the upper basket and
the cutlery tray.
Leave plenty of space between the cut-
lery in the cutlery tray.
As the middle spray arm also directs
some water downwards, larger plates
and platters can be placed in the lower
basket, also well spaced out.
Do not, however, place dishes or bowls
or other hollow containers in the bottom
basket.
Using “Top Solo” results in savings in
water, detergent and energy.
For example in the UNIVERSAL 55° pro-
gramme 20 litres of water are used,
and 1.4 kWh electricity.
In the TOP SOLO 55° programme only
15 litres of water are used, and 1.1 kWh
electricity.
Because smaller amounts of crockery
are being washed the amount of deter-
gent recommended by the manufac-
turer can normally be reduced, depend-
ing on how soiled the load is, (to
approx. two-thirds of the amount for a
full load). Make sure, however, when re-
ducing the amount dispensed that the
cleaning result is not affected.
