Plumbing
Normally connection to water is sited
near the dishwasher, for example in the
area under the sink. A Miele sink base
unit already has a suitable cut-out for in-
stallation. If the base unit and plinth
have no cut-out, one must be made,
suggested dimensions: 60 x 110 mm.
The same applies to the wall unit in
which this dishwasher is to be installed.
Important:
For the leak protection feature of the
“Waterproof system” to work, the water
connection must be sited at least
350 mm higher than the base board on
which this dishwasher is installed.
If this is not possible, the inlet hose can
be laid in a bend or loop. The highest
point of this bend or loop must be at
least 350 mm above the base board.
When the inlet hose is laid in a bend or
loop, however, the “Waterproof system”
will not provide protection from water
damage, should any leakage occur in
the “waterproof valve” box.
