Changing the lamps

Before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance work, disconnect the
cooker hood from the mains supply.
Ensure that:
- it is switched off at the wall socket

and the plug removed, or

- the fuse is withdrawn from the

fused spur connection unit, or

- the mains fuse is withdrawn, or
- the screw-out fuse is removed (in

countries where this is applicable).

Front hob lighting

Remove the lamp cover using the
tool provided.
Insert the lever under the notch as
shown, bend it forwards and pull the
lamp cover sideways.

The lamp holder protrudes a little on
one side.

Pull it out on this side as far as it will
come, and hold firmly with one hand.
With your other hand, turn the lamp a
quarter turn and remove from the
holder.

^

Replace with a new lamp in the same
way.

^

Then replace the lamp cover, starting
on the side that the lamp holder is
protruding. Push the lamp holder
back into its housing. The fluting on
the lamp cover should be uppermost.

^

Bend the lamp cover and fit it into the
other side.

^

Finally, push the lamp cover in the
middle.
