Clean the filter
–
by hand:
with a nylon brush, warm
water with a little washing up liquid.

in a dishwasher:
place the filter
with the short side upright in the
lower basket, ensuring the spray arm
is not obstructed.
Note: some dishwasher detergents
may cause the surface of the metal
grease filter to discolour.
However, this will not affect the func-
tioning of the grease filter in any
way.

After cleaning leave the filter to dry
for a while on an absorbent surface
before putting it back in place.

When cleaning the stainless steel fil-
ter please also follow the cleaning in-
structions given for the housing.

When removing the filters for clean-
ing also clean off any residues of oil
or fat from the now accessible hous-
ing to prevent the risk of these catch-
ing fire.

After replacing the grease filter, press
the grease filter touch control for
approx. 3 seconds to re-set the oper-
ating hours counter.
The indicator lamp will go out.

If the grease filter is cleaned before
the operating hours counter has
reached its maximum, the grease fil-
ter touch control should be pressed
for approx. 6 seconds to reset the
counter to zero.
Replace the grease filter

Holding the grease filter at an angle
fit it into the front of the chimney and
then push it into position along the
front edge.

Then push it up into position at the
back making sure it clicks into posi-
tion at both sides.
Replace the stainless steel filter

Fit the stainless steel filter into the ap-
pliance so that it hooks into the re-
tainers at the back, then push it up-
wards at the front and make sure it
engages in the quick release mecha-
nism.
