Pasta basket
When using the fryer to cook pasta,
the pasta basket and pasta lid must
be used. Please read the instruction
booklet supplied with the CS 1411
fryer for further information.
Before using the fryer for cooking pasta
it must be drained completely of oil or
fat and the oil reservoir must be clea-
ned thoroughly (see "After frying" in the
operating instruction booklet).

Check that the drain tap is closed.

Fill the oil reservoir with water:
– for 500 g of pasta up to the maximum
level (4 litres),
– for 250 g of pasta up to the minimum
level (3 litres).
Do not cook more than 500 g of dry
pasta at a time.

Turn the control to 200 °C and wait
until the water comes to the boil.

Fill the pasta basket with pasta and
lower it into the boiling water. Cover
with the pasta lid and leave at this
setting while the water comes to the
boil again.

Once the water is boiling, turn the
control back to 130 °C and do not
alter the setting again until the end
of the cooking time.
Cleaning and care
Clean the pasta basket and the lid after
each use with hot water and a little
washing-up liquid, or wash them in the
dishwasher.
