The vacuum cleaner has switched
itself off automatically.
A temperature limiter will switch the
cleaner off automatically if, for instance,
large articles have blocked the suction
tube or when the filter bag is full or
contains too much fine dust. A heavily
soiled exhaust or dust compartment
filter can also be the cause of
overheating. Switch the vacuum
cleaner off.
After removing the cause, wait for a
period of approx. 60 minutes to allow
the vacuum cleaner to cool down. It
can then be switched on again.
Cleaning the air channel
The air channel can be opened up to
clean out any heavy soiling or
blockages. Any large particles or hair
etc. which have been vacuumed up
can then be removed.
^
Press the dust compartment release
button and open the lid.
^
Holding the grips at either end,
carefully remove the air channel
cover. There are two grips on it for
this purpose.
^
Remove any blockages or soiling
from the channel.
^
Replace the cover.
^
Close the dust compartment lid
firmly.
