Introduction

Congratulations.  Your 80 channel Mobile CB represents the state-of-the art in high-tech engineering.
Designed for 80 FM/12 AM channels Citizen Band Mobile operation, this compact package is big in perfor-
mance. It is a quality piece of electronic equipment, skilfully constructed from the finest components. The
circuitry is a solid-state, mounted on rugged printed circuit boards. It is designed for many years of reliable,
trouble-free performance. Your mobile CB has a built in 80 FM / 12 AM channels Phase-Locked Loop
synthesiser circuit.
The PLL circuit achieves a new technique for generating all required frequencies with fewer crystals. The
result is much tighter frequency control and superior reliability.

Not only the Silver outlook with the classical arrangement of the control element does make the ALAN 255
ESP
to something special. With the ALAN it concerns itself 255 ESP2 D80 around an anniversary output
for the 10-year old foundation of the company ALAN Electronics Germany in limited edition.

Apart from the built-in functions of the ALAN High Class mobile transceivers the ALAN 255 ESP2 D80
indicates still two special functions. In order to control the modulation, the own transmission can be shown
by operation of the TALKBACK switch over the integrated loudspeaker. Furthermore a DIM switch imple-
mented  by that the background lighting (amber colours) of the display can be adjusted in two levels.

Equipped with mounting bracket, microphone holder, microphone with up/down-buttons, fixing screws,
power supply cord,  manual
