Using USB
The keyboard does not need any driver for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
or Mac OS-X 10.3.8. You only need to connect and power on the keyboard. Your
computer will automatically install the needed driver. After this, you can start making
music. For Windows OS be sure, that Service Pack 2 is installed; else we can not
garantee that the keyboard is working correct.
Using the MIDI Functions
To transmit Mididata from your keyboard to other MIDI instruments, please
purchase a MIDI cable and use it to connect the MIDI-OUT jack of your i² Control-37 to
the MIDI-IN jack of the other instrument. Make sure that the MIDI "transmit" channel on
your i² Control-37 matches the MIDI "receive" channel of the other instrument.
You also can transmit Mididata from your computer to MIDI-Out jack, or to your computer
by MIDI-IN jack. Be sure that you setup the MIDI-In and MIDI-Out port in your
Musicsoftware; otherwise no MIDI communication is possible. Please refer to the
usermanual of your musicsoftware how to do this.
The following diagram shows the MIDI connections:
