( but not hot ! )
3. Rinse and wipe dry wit h a
clean clot h or paper t ow el.

cookt op back on.

sw it ched off, t here w ill be no ‘hot
surface’ indicat ion but t he
cooking zone m ay st ill be hot !

• Heavy- dut y scourers, som e
nylon scourers and
harsh/ abrasiv e cleaning agent s
m ay scrat ch t he glass. Always
read t he label t o check if your
cleaner or scour er is suit able.
• Never leave cleaning r esidue on

Rem ove t hese im m ediat ely
w it h a fish slice, palet t e knife
or razor blade scraper suit able
for ceram ic glass cookt ops,
but beware of hot cooking
zone surfaces:
1. Sw it ch t he power t o t he
cookt op off at t he wall.
2. Hold t he blade or ut ensil at
a 30° angle and scrape t he
soiling or spill t o a cool ar ea
of t he cookt op.
3. Clean t he soiling or spill up
wit h a dish clot h or paper
t owel.
4. Follow st eps 2 t o 4 for
‘Everyday soiling on glass’
above.
• Rem ove st ains left by m elt s and
sugary food or spillover s as soon
as possible. I f left t o cool on t he
glass, t hey m ay be difficult t o
rem ove or ev en perm anent ly
dam age t he glass surface.
• Cut hazard: w hen t he safet y
cover
is ret ract ed, t he blade in a
scraper
is razor- sharp. Use w it h ext rem e
care and always st ore safely and
out of reach of children.
