Operating instructions

Placement

•  Place the fan heater on a hard and level surface.
•  Never place the fan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets and thick rugs.
•  Do not place the fan heater in a bathroom, laundry room, or close to the bath or shower.
•  Do not use the fan heater in damp or dusty environments.
•  Place the fan heater some distance away from furniture, curtains and other

flammable objects. Make sure that fan heater is at least 1 m from walls or any
other objects.

Setting the desired temperature

1.  Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
2.  Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum setting.
3.  Select a power setting (experiment to find the best setting for the location).
4.  When the desired temperature has been reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob

back until it clicks and the fan heater switches off.

5.  The fan heater will maintain the set temperature by automatically switching on

and off.

Switching the fan heater off

1.  Set the function selector to

OFF

.

2.  Set the thermostat knob to

MIN

.

3.  Unplug the fan heater from the electrical socket.

Tip-over switch

The tip-over switch is located on the bottom of the fan heater and will shut the heater
off automatically should it tip over.

Overheating protection

•  The fan heater has a built-in thermal overheating protection device.

If the overheating protection is triggered, the heating element is automatically
shut off. When the overheating protection device has cooled down, the heating
element will be reconnected and the fan heater will work again as normal.

•  As an extra safety measure the heater is also fitted with a thermal fuse safety cut-off.

This thermal fuse cannot be reset, so if it has blown the fan heater cannot be reused.
The fan heater should then be discarded.

Care and maintenance

•  Switch the fan heater off, unplug it from the wall socket and let it cool before

cleaning it and putting it away.

•  Clean the fan heater using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,

never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
