Transmitter Overview

Transmitter configurations can consist of either an internal or external digital 19.39 Mbps 
modulator (QM2), an FM NTSC modulator, or an external modem or multiplexer such as 
the MRC Variable Rate Modem or QM4 Modem. See 

Figure 1-1

 for the transmitter block 

diagram.
