Then the Vote Card must be removed to reset the ballot.
Then the poll-worker must reactivate the ballot if the voter
still wishes to vote. A cancelled vote does not increment
the vote count.
3. Offices and candidates begin on the first page that is displayed upon ballot
activation. To make a selection, press the button next to the name of the desired
candidate. An
“X”
will appear in the box next to the candidate name. To change
a vote, press the gray button again to cancel the selection then, elect another
candidate by using the same procedure. The “Office Title” area will show the
vote limit for that office, the number of selections currently made, and whether
the vote limit has been reached (complete). If an invalid button is pressed, the
status display at the bottom of panel will display
“Blank Location”.
If a voter
attempts to overvote, vote for more than the allotted number of candidates for the
office being contested, the status display will display
“Contest Full”.
Repeat
this procedure for every office on the ballot.
