For wall mounting, position the side outlet directly downward for water proofing.

Ceiling mounting with gang box
Steps:
1.
Disassemble the camera. Refer to the section 2.1.
2.
Install the gang box in the ceiling (see list of related accessories).
3.
Attach the mounting base to the gang box with two screws.
