AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION
MAGNETS (SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS)
CAUTION!
• Magnets can affect certain electronic devices. Make
sure to never place magnets on monitors, television
sets or other electronic apparatuses.
• Make sure to maintain distance between magnets
and credit cards, CDs and DVDs and other objects
that are sensitive to magnetic fields (more than
30 cm).
WARNING!
• Magnets can interfere in the functioning of medical
devices like pacemakers and magnetic valves, etc.
• Users who have a pacemaker fitted should follow
the pacemaker manufacturer’s safety instructions
and use the magnetic accessory only when you can be
sure a safe distance is being maintained (a minimum
of 10 cm).
• Keep magnets out of the reach of children. If
anyone swallows a magnet, seek medical help.
Your hearing aid is equipped with an
auto-telephone feature which allows
you to automatically select the best
program for hearing the telephone
when you bring it close to your ear.
If you have a binaural fitting, you’ll
be able to hear the telephone call
simultaneously in both hearing aids
by activating the t-coil program.
When you finish speaking and
remove the telephone from your
ear, the hearing aid will return to
the program it was using before the
call.
To automatically activate the
auto-
telephone
feature, you must place
the magnetic accessory on your
telephone’s speaker (earpiece).
Move the magnet slightly until
you reach the optimal position* to
ensure a reliable connection and
pleasant listening experience, then
slip the protector off and stick the
accessory to the telephone.
