4.2.3 Encapsulation RFC2516 PPP over Ethernet 

A. For Win2000 / XP 

1. Same procedure as for changing VP/VC. In the PPP encapsulation 

section, select either: 

- PPP over Ethernet Bridged VCMUX (R RFC1483) 

- PPP over Ethernet Bridged LLC/SNAP (R RFC1483) 

2. Click 

OK

 

 

B. For Win98 / Me 

1. Same procedure as for changing VP/VC. In the PPP encapsulation 

section, select either: 

- PPP over Ethernet Bridged VCMUX (R RFC1483) 

- PPP over Ethernet Bridged LLC/SNAP (R RFC1483)
