3.2.2 Advanced Register Update Area
This section of GUI gives the user more options to configure and operate the
MCP19117 Flyback Stand-Alone Evaluation Board (see
Figure 3-7 ).

Note that the Enable Edit check box must be selected in order for the section to become
editable.
The parameters have drop-down lists with predetermined values can be selected.
.The adjustable parameters are the following:
• LEB: selects a time period (in nS) for the Leading Edge Blanking
• PDRV Deadtime: sets the delay time (in nS) for the primary driver
• SDRV Deadtime: sets the delay time (in nS) for the secondary driver
• Input Current Offset:: sets a value (in mV) in for the input current offset
• Slope Compensation: sets a value for the slope compensation
In addition, this section allows users to update up to four Special Function Registers
(SFR) at the same time. For more information on Special Function Registers, refer to
the MCP19116/7 Data Sheet –
“Digitally Enhanced Power Analog Synchronous
Low-Side PWM Controller” (DS20005479).
