Safety instructions

- if the mill wings are iced over, stop
the mill until the ice is removed
- beware of ice falling from the mill,
wear a safety helmet
- always keep the mill locked against
intruders
Do not climb inside the mill if windspeeds
exceed 20m/s.
Do not attempt to work on the transmission or
yaw system if windspeeds exceed 15m/s.
When working on the transmission and yaw
system, they must be locked.
Do not enter the mill during thundery weather
conditions, except in an emergency.
General
Micon
mills are constructed with the highest
regard for safety - both of the mill itself and its
surroundings.
When inside, or in the vicinity of the mill, there
are certain basic safety rules that must always
be observed.
- When inside the mill
- there must be at least two people
present
- stop the mill and disconnect
the power
- always use safety belts when
ascending and descending
- wear a safety helmet
- remember to close all platform
