To unplug only pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in
any way. This can avoid accidents of falling down and risk of burning by hot water.
Ensure that the cable never comes into contact with sharp edges and hot objects.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it. From time to time check if
the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged it must not be used any
more.
Caution! Danger of hot surface and burning! The appliance gets very hot during
operation. During operation of electrical caloric appliances, high temperatures - by
boiling water, hot steam or hot body - are generated, which may cause injuries.
Never open the lid while the unit is in operation! Only touch the cool touch handle
to open or close! Never touch hot lid or housing!
Caution! Always keep enough distance to heat or steam sensitive surface, walls,
furniture. Ensure that the cord does not touch hot parts of the appliance like lid or
housing.
Caution! Risk of overheating the appliance! Never operate the appliance without
water or with open lid!
Caution! In case of overfilling there is danger of burning by splashing, or
overflowing hot water!

Remove all packaging material as carton and foils.
Unroll the cord completely.
Clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
If necessary cook some water, empty and rinse the appliance afterwards to remove production
residues that might be inside. Always take care not to let water run into the electric parts of the
unit.
Place the unit on a stable, dry non-slip and heat resistant surface.
