Safety cautions
To avoid damage or danger by improper use this instruction manual should be followed and carefully
kept. Keep this instruction manual safe together with the receipt and the warranty document for later
use. If you give the appliance to another person, also supply them with the instruction manual and all
documents. Please contact the Service Hotline (see “Warranty claims”) if you notice that the appliance
might be damaged in any way or even malfunctioning.
Intended use: This appliance is suited for ventilation. Use the appliance for domestic purpose only -
the appliance is not suited for commercial use. The appliance is suited for dry rooms only! To avoid
damage or danger by improper use, this instruction manual should be followed carefully. In case of
damage and accidents caused by not following the safety cautions and the instruction manual the
manufacturer assumes no liability.
While using electrical appliances for safety reason and for avoiding electrical shock and risk of
injury or burning please adhere to the following basic safety precautions:

Ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance.
Connect this appliance to a grounded mains socket only.
•
Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not allow the cord hanging down over the
edge of the sink, worktop or table. Never switch the appliance off by pulling the cable. Never move
the appliance by pulling the cord. The cord should never get wet or touch humid or hot things. By
rolling up the cable frequently or having it rolled up for a long time, the chance of a cable fracture
is high. Be sure not to roll the cable too tight when storing the appliance.
•
Keep power cord and socket away from the hot air stream to avoid danger of melting, damage and
short circuit. Always keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot surface.
•
Do not operate any appliance if:

power cord is damaged

in case of malfunction or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Special tools are
required to repair the appliance. In any case ask a (*)competent qualified electrician to check
and repair it.
•
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance
shows any signs of damage as it could be dangerous. Should the cord be damaged, it must be
replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*) to avoid any danger caused by electric current.
